Udupi: Bhandary Maha Mandal organised ‘Atid onji Dina’ at the Ammani Ramani auditorium, Udupi on July, 31. Esha Vittaldas Swamiji, popularly known as Kemaru Swamiji blessed the event by lighting the lamp.

The programme was presided over by Shri Kacchur Shri Nageshwara administrative and Seva trust Barkur president Suresh S Bhandary. In his presidential address Bhandary said, “This is a family get-together. We need to preserve our culture and tradition by organising such programmes.”
Eesha Vittaldas seer appreciated the selfless service by Bhandary Mahamandala association led by Suresh Bhandary.
Dr Mohan Alva speaking on the occasion opined that programmes like Atid onji Dina helps in uniting the society. He said, “We should organise these programmes to preserve our forefathers’ tradition and way of life to our future generation.”
Dr. Mohandas Alva from Alva’s Foundation, Thonse Vijay Kumar Shetty from Kalajagthu, Mumbai, Purushotham Shetty from Ujwal Devlelopers, Jeri Vincent Dias from Udupi Builders Association, Yashpal Suvarna from District fisher federation, Shadashiv Bhandary, President Bhandary Maha Mandal and many others were present during the event.
Later, the gathering was served different varieties of food items prepared on the occasion of Ati.
