Mysuru: B. Sheikh Ali, Former Founder Vice Chancellor, Mangalore University and Goa University passed away in the City on Thursday September 1.

Founder President of Sultan Shaheed Education Trust, Ali (98) was a renowned Historian.

The mortal remains will be kept for public viewing at Muslim Hostel in Saraswatipuram of the City. He is survived by a son and daughters.
