Kasaragod: Sonu Crasta (13), son of Kasaragod District Journalists’ Association Secretary and freelancer Steephan Crasta AKA Steephan Kayyar, a resident of Kayyar passed away on Saturday July 16.

The sad demise occurred when a coconut tree knocked by gusty winds fell on the boy in the afternoon of Saturday. He was a student of Class VIII.

The heavy rains have been lashing the District for past many days.
