Hassan:  An incident occurred in Hassan where a young man successfully captured a leopard and subsequently handed it over to the local forest department.

Venugopal alias Muthu is the young man holding the leopard. He captured a leopard and tied it to his bike in Gandasi Hobali Bagiwalu village of Araseikere taluk of Hassan district.

When Muthu went to his farm in the morning, as usual, the leopard appeared. This time, he struggled and captured the leopard. Later he tied it to the bike and handed it over to the forest department. Pearl’s hand was cut when she was caught by the leopard. The leopard is currently being treated at the Gandasi Veterinary Hospital. The incident took place in Gandasi police station.
