Bengaluru: Voting begins for the election of new corporators for three City Corporations of the North Karnataka region.

Voting has begun for the Hubballi- Dharwad, Belagavi and Kalaburagi City Corporations. It is the first election after Basavaraj Bommai took charge as the Chief Minister.

No untoward incidents have been reported. Amid Covid – 19 fear too, the voters are coming in large number to cast votes.

BJP and Congress are the main rivals in all these three corporations. In Hubballi -Dharwad AAP and in Belagavi MES may play the role of spoilsport.
