Chamarajanagar: A district bordering Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, activists from pro-Kannada organizations conducted a ‘Seva’ in semi-nude attire on the national highway.
Members of pro-Kannada organizations marched in a procession from Sri Chamarajeshwara Park to Sri Bhuvaneswari Circle in Chamarajanagar, conducting their demonstration along the National Highway.
The demonstrators expressed their discontent with both the Cauvery Water Sharing Management Authority and the Supreme Court, alleging unfair treatment towards Karnataka. They accused political parties like the Congress, BJP, and JD(S) of prioritizing politics over the state’s welfare. The protesters called upon the central government to step in and ensure justice for Karnataka.
