Mysuru: A final year degree student consumed poison and committed suicide at Maradoor in Hunsur taluk on Tuesday. The reason behind the suicide is said to be fear of being harrassed after he was threatened against his love affair by people from the village the girl belonged to.
Nayak (22), a final year BA student of a government college is the deceased.

The villagers had come to know about his love affair. So they called him for a meeting and threatened him saying that if he does not end his relationship with the girl, they would complain to the police.

The youth who got scared after being threatened by the village panchayath head consumed poison.

Bilakere station police have registered a case against nine persons in this regard.
