Mysuru: “The state government has failed at all spheres of administration same while even the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has also failed to bring any new development project to his home town Mysuru,” said former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa in a press meet held at press club in the city on Sunday.
Speaking to the media persons he criticized Congress for being a passive government without recognizing the plight of the people in the state. Law and order failure, death of notable government officials DK Ravi, Bande and others are some of the achievement the state government has made on the occasion of their second anniversary” Yeddyurappa said sarcastically.
The state government has withdrawn various criminal cases filed against the Popular Front of India (PFI) activists without understanding the seriousness of the charges filed against them, he stressed.
Speaking on lottery scam and other corruption allegations on government he said, “the state government including home department of the state has indulged in bribery and corruption activities harming the security and integrity of the state and government.”
In the recent Gram Panchayat elections many of the people were wounded and killed in the clashes and the state government is directly responsible for such deaths, he said blaming the state government. He also accused the Congress government for not utilizing the public funds for developmental activities which includes health, irrigation and others.
Member of Parliament Pratap Simha, former state cabinet minister SA Ramdas, former Member of Parliament CH Vijayashankar and others were present during the press meet.
