Mysuru: Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar recently during the Samskruthika Habba -2015 cultural event at Kalamandira, said that he has plans to join politics in future.

Showing his interest in politics, he stated that no party has approached him yet.

Meanwhile, speaking on the Dasara celebrations, Yaduveer said that the preparations are going on for the puja and other traditional rituals for the 10-day Dasara festivities.

Earlier, Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, said that Dasara preparations are going in full swing in the Palace as usual.

Pramoda Devi stressed that the pujas and other related rituals within the Palace will continue as before and there would be no deviation from the traditional rituals.

When questioned about Yaduveer’s grooming for Khas Durbar, she said that Yaduveer is getting trained in all the customary rituals of the Palace and he will be fully prepared to perform all Dasara rituals.

Earlier, Mysore University Vice Chancellor Professor K S Rangappa lauded the royal family of Mysore for taking part in public events, and he pointed out that it is a good initiative to strengthen democratic setup of the country.

Maharani Pramodadevi Wadiyar inaugurated the three day long fest. Maharaja Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar has felicitated during the inaugural event.
