Mysuru: The wedding of Mysuru crown prince Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar, which was earlier slated to be held in May has been postponed.

It is said that since the celestial predictions hinted that May was not the right time for his wedding, there are possibilities of the royal wedding being held in June.

As per palace sources, the wedding of the crown prince to Princess Trishika Kumari of Dungarpur, Rajasthan may take place either on June 10 or on 25 at Amba Vilas Palace, the same venue where Srikanthadatta Narasimharaja Wodeyar and Pramoda Devi (foster mother of Yaduveer) were married in 1976.

Sringeri Seer Bharathitheertha Swamiji, who is the ‘Rajguru’ of the royal family will be given the first invitation card. After performing the rituals, the ‘kula gurus’ of the royal family will conduct  the wedding in June. The wedding is scheduled to be held for five days.
