Mysuru: The woman was found alive during the funeral procession last week here, passed away on Monday, May 23.

Padmabai Loda, aged 59, admitted to Apollo BGS Hospitals, breathed her last in the afternoon.
 
The last rites were performed in the evening at the crematorium near the foot of Chamundi Hill.

Padmabai suffered respiratory problems on May 16 and was admitted to a private hospital. The doctors put her on ventilator and by 8 pm the same day, she was declared dead by the hospital authorities. The family members, who decided to cremate her body, bought her to a crematorium near Chamundi Hills. A few relatives observed movement in the body and Padmabai had started breathing.
