Mysuru:  A Circle inspector’s wife reportedly lodged a complaint against her husband alleging him of having an extra marital affair and thus harassing her mentally and physically, at Piriyapattana, on Wednesday, May 4.
Mansa registered a complaint against her husband, Hassan Circle inspector Sathish at Piriyapattana police station and also informed the Chairman of Women and Children Protection Committee V S Ugrappa.

Sources said that Manasa and Sathish from Piriyapattana were married two years ago and were having a good relationship.

When Manasa came to know about Sathish’s affair with a woman constable, she questioned him. Sathish harassed her mentally and sent her to her mother’s home demanding more dowry.

Sathish who is currently serving in the Anti-Naxal Force, dismissed all the allegations and said that Mansa was mentally ill.

“She is mentally ill and has always been suspicious. I am contemplating a divorce,” he said.

The Piriyapattana police have registered the case and sent a notice to Sathish.

President of Women and Children Protection Committee V S Ugrappa has requested the police to investigate the matter seriously.
