Mysuru: When Indians are going gaga over westernisation, a couple from United States fell flat for Indian tradition and got engaged by following all traditional rituals associated with Indian wedding.

Bridegroom Kalki Henrick from Unites States and bride Yessa Jesneya got engaged during the end of their study period in Mysuru recently. The couple had come to India to study Vedas and ancestral wedding practices in India. During the course of their studies they went through the traditional royal wedding of Karnataka and the rituals associated with those.

Bowled over by the local tradition and rituals, the couple decided to get engaged in India on February 27 before embarking for US. They have planned to get married in US, but in traditional Hindu style.
