Mysuru: The Uttar Pradesh Assembly election results where BJP came to power by winning 324 seats shows the great leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said former minister and BJP candidate for Nanjangud by-election V Srinivas Prasad.

“The results of Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls was not a surprise. It was on expected lines and have proved the leadership qualities of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Even though SP and Congress came together for UP election they couldn’t do much as they failed to make their presence felt. The result also indicates the downfall of Congress. Congress even failed to do well in Amethi which is represented by Rahul Gandhi. It’s really a set back for congress” added Prasad.

He also mentioned that the same wave will continue in the forthcoming by-elections for Nanjangud and Gundulpet. “BJP will definitely come out victorious in both the elections. No muscle power or money power will prevent BJP from winning both the elections”, expressed Srinivas Prasad.
