The legislature committee of Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare has decided to recommend an enquiry into the same.

After visiting the University of Mysore and interacting with UOM Vice Chancellor Dayanand Mane and Bharathi, Registrar, UOM, the legislature committee of Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare mentioned that came to know about the irregularities taking place at the University for the past three years while conducting the KSET exam. It is alleged that a particular community was favored while conducting KSET exam and hence the University authorities have been asked to send a detailed report of KSET exam conducted during last three years. When the KSET topic came up, even Dayanand Mane mentioned that University of Mysore was thinking of handing over KSET irregularities to COD.

Apart from violating roaster system in recruitment teaching and non teaching for temporary, guest and permanent posts to outer appearance there is also alleged irregularities, including manipulation while conducting KSET exams for the last three years. We have suspicions related to the conduct of KSET exam by UOM as there is allegations about favorism for particular community. There are also irregularities in promoting the teaching staffs; hence we have requested university authorities to immediately withdraw recruitment promotion and also to send a detailed report of the entire three years KSET exam. After going through the report we will recommend government to conduct enquiry.”

We too will go through all the allegations including that of KSET and teaching recruitment promotion and if any violation is found we will take action.
