Mysuru: Police said a 36 year old dead woman’s body was found at Veera Madhakari Nayakana Halli in the Chamundi hill premises. On Wednesday afternoon police had received a call from the residents complaining about the dead body which was lying on the side of parallel road of Uthnalli and rushed to the spot.

When the police examined the place, they found a bag of bangles near the dead body. DCP Vikram Pateel  visited to the crime scene and said “prime facie the body looks like  she was killed by some known people as there are some wounds in the body. But we will do the further investigation and will solve the issue as soon as possible”.

The forensic officials subsequently said that the lady had died a week ago, but accurate information could only be obtained after the post mortem.

A case has been registered in K R police station.
