Mysuru: Two youth from Bengaluru on a visit to Yedathore (meaning stream flowing towards left in local dialect) village in T Narispur taluk reportedly drowned after they ventured into water to swim on October 10.

Sunil (25), a resident of Yedathore and Ravikumar (24) of Bengaluru origin are suspected dead in the unfortunate incident.

Five youth employed at a bar in Bengaluru got down into the river to swim but two drowned leaving behind no trace. Fire service personnel and locals rushed to the spot to trace them.

A complaint has been registered at T Narispur Police Station in connection with the incident.
