Mysuru: The city crime branch team raided a spa and nabbed four men involved in flesh trade in Mysuru on Tuesday, July 19. They also rescued two girls.

The arrested persons are Nagaraju (49), Ronny, Sajjivan and Melwyn. While Nagaraju is a resident of Bannimantap ‘A’ layout in Mysuru, the rest of them are from Kerala.

Though it appeared to be like a spa to the outside world, there were complaints against ANS Spa run by Nagaraju about immoral activities. The spa is located adjacent to Hotel Roopa on BN Road in Nazarbad Police station limits. It was operating like a massage centre. There was a steep increase in the number of customers as girls were involved. The spa used to generate some business through online contacts which turned the spa into a hub of immoral activities.

After receiving several complains, Assistant Police Commissioner N Rudramuni formed a team headed by ACP C.Gopal of city crime branch. The team comprising several police officials and personnel, conducted a raid on the spa, arrested four accused and rescued two girls.

The police team seized five mobile handsets along with Rs 13,000 in cash from the accused.

A case has been registered at Nazarbad police station against the accused.
