Two ducks die of suspected bird flu in DC’s official residence

Mysuru: Two ducks have died in the premises of Deputy Commissioner’s official residence due to suspected bird flu.
Enough stock of sugar, salt in district: DC Randeep-1The ducks seen in the water pond for over nine years near the official residence of the Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru situated on Hunsur road were found dead.

The blood samples and droppings have been sent to the laboratory for analysis and there is no need to panic, said DC Randeep confirming their deaths.

It may be recalled that the famous Mysuru Zoo was closed for a month and a red alert sounded in the area surrounding zoo and bird sanctuary after several bird deaths due to bird flu were reported recently.
