K R Nagar: The town police seized a truck carrying 17 cattle on the Hosur–Chunchanakatte road of the taluk on Tuesday, January 3.
On a definite tip off, police swung into action and stopped a Canter vehicle transporting cattle illegally from Adakanahalli in Periyapatna Taluk.

Police arrested truck driver Dadapeer and cleaner Saleem. The seized cattle include 13 cows and four buffaloes which were later sent to the identification centre in Mysuru.

K R Nagar police have registered a case.
