Trios go Cycling to maintain Good Health

Mysore: In this jet set age, cars and bikes rule the roads…in the midst the numbers of bicycle enthusiasts are a very few.  In a contrast to this, a bicycle enthusiasts group “Mysore Geleyara Balaga” is an exception who goes on weekend trips in their cycles.

Mysore Geleyara Balaga would be busy at the offices for the whole week, come weekend they are already on their way in their cycles visiting tourists’ spots.  It is their hobby and also a mite towards sustaining environment and maintain good health.

The entrepreneur Deenadagelan from Jayalaxmipuram, Banu Jain and Roopeshtambal are into the hobby of cycling since several years, who have found a novel way in maintaining good health.  The go on cycling for 3 days a week to Chamundi hills without fail.

They begin their journey from Mysore on Sundays visiting key tourists’ spots, religious centers in the district and neighbouring districts too. “Cycling keep us fit and fine,” says Deenadagelan and hopes the government lays separate bicycle track on main roads in town and rural areas.
