Mysuru: The city traffic police held a drive, in an attempt to make the Auto Rickshaw drivers follow rules on June 25. The drive was held from morning 10 am till evening 6 pm.

Monitoring whether the Auto Rickshaw follow the traffic rules, around 1480 autos were inspected out with over 705 autos were fined due to irregularities.
 
In a day alone, the traffic police men collected a total fine of Rs 59,700. Commissioner of police said the Auto Rickshaw drivers should follow the traffic rules in the press release.
