Mysore: In a strange development, it is reported that four unidentified miscreants entered the compound of a house belonging to B. R.  Rajshekar, an employee of KSIC who is residing at the 4th cross, Sewage Farm Road in Vidyaranyapuram and  torched three two wheelers parked there.

The four miscreants who reportedly came in two bikes at about 2.30 am, allegedly poured petrol on a Honda Activa scooter (KA-09, EJ-8330), a Hero Honda Passion bike (KA-11, R-5611) and a Kinetic Honda scooter (KA-32, H-7668) before setting them on fire and fled from the spot.

The Window frame caught fire and the smoke alerted the inmates. The occupants of the house Rajashekar, his wife, his mother and two children were unable to come out of the house as the density of fire was unbearable.

Neighbours,  came and doused the fire and informed the police.

Police, who arrived at about 3.30 am, took photographs and informed them that they would come at 9.30 am to take the complaint. Vidyaranyapuram Police have registered a case.  The targeted nature of the action gives rise to suspicion about some sort of enemity, however Rajashekar is said to be in good terms with his neighbors and has no enemies as such to suspect anyone.
