Three arrested in rowdy-sheeter murder case

Mysuru: Police arrested three persons in connection with the murder of rowdy-sheeter Vijay Kumar. He was found murdered in front of the private bus stand (RMC) near Akshay Bar on August 29.

During media briefing on Saturday, Police Commissioner B Dayananda said that the team has arrested three persons in connection to the murder. During investigation, it was revealed that the accused are involved in various others cases in Mysuru and Mandya police limits.

27-year-old Vijay Kumar, resident of Vijayashripura was a close associate of Devendra who too was hacked to death a few months back. He was the prime accused in the murder of Kariyappa and another murder in Malavalli. When Devendra was murdered, it was alleged that Vijay along with his friendly forcibly closed shops in Vijayashripura and surrounding areas as a mark of respect for his friend Devendra.
