Mysuru: “The present state government and the Chief Minister are sleeping. He has failed to take control of his cabinet” said Former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy

He was speaking after the inaugurating the Mandya MP C S Puttaraju’s Office at the government guest house on Thursday.

“From past five years those who have been at the helm of the power ministry, are involved in power scams and because of this, there is around 50 to 60 thousand  crore rupees burden on the public. When the 2g scam was out, the BJP leaders shouting at the  UPA Government,  but now they are shut, because they too were involved in the scam when their Government was in the power” , he said.

“After all these issues, now a few BJP leaders are protesting against the Government, which is shame to the CM and as well as to his Govt.”, he added. He also said that he has the documents which can make 2 ministers of Mysuru to resign but he is not ready do so just because he doesn’t want to make the  mistake of the past and loose the vote banks of those communities.

Later he said, “there are many tobacco crops n Hassan, Mysore, Haveri and other district but Chief Minister is showing least concern towards these product and their growers, and all the cabinet ministers are planning to shut down these products in the state. “But I assure that we won’t let the farmers give up their life for this reason”.

Speaking about the paddy crop, he said, “in the state around 7.5 lakh worth of stock is in the Government warehouse. But the government is still not using these stocks because of their laziness, and the sugarcane growers are demanding to fix a scientific price but the government has yet not fixed it. They have failed to resolve the problems of the farmers and also failed to fulfill their promises which were announced during the assembly election”
