Mysuru: People like Rajnikant movies not only for his style but also for his punching dialogues and messages, which changed life of lakhs of people including Pourakarmika N Mara, President of Mysuru City Rajnikanth Fans Association.
“It’s not only me but also lakhs of people across the country especially in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka whose lives have been touched by Rajnikanth. Many were consuming alcohol and were slaves to such habits, leaving their families in lurch. But, after seeing Rajnikanth movies they have revamped their life. I was also an alcoholic, but after seeing his movies especially Bairavi I reformed myself and now I am looking after my family,” says Mara, who is eagerly awaiting the release of Kabali.
Mara says, while Rajnikanth’s concern for poor is really touching, there were instances of several married couples reuniting with each other because of Rajni films. “We do not want anything from him, we only want God to bless him with good health,” says 55-year-old Mara who works as sweeper at Agrahara.
Now, this die-hard Rajni fan like millions of others is waiting for Kabali to hit the screens and see what ‘Thalaiva’ has to say to the world with this movie.
