Mysuru: The decision with regard to the selection of the BJP state president’s post will be taken after the ZP and TP elections, said Union Law minister D V Sadananda Gowda in Mysuru.
Speaking at a press meet, DVS said that the Cabinet will decide on the state party chief post. However, the final call will be taken after the elections.

He added that BJP will be contesting the upcoming elections on its own and there will not be any alliance.

He criticized the ruling state government for the delay in appointing someone for the Lokayukta post which has been vacant since Bhaskar Rao resigned from the post over corruption charges in the office.
