Mysuru: Sri Ram Sena, a right-wing Hindu group which opposes the celebration of Valentine’s Day from several years, stepped out to distribute an appeal to the students here on Thursday, February 14, to not observe this day.

Th activists have distributed several appeals to the students of Maharani’s Arts and Commerce College requesting them to “protect the culture and tradition” of this country.

The programme was conducted amid tight police security.
