Mysore : In an apparent case of slip of the tongue, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for a moment stunned journalists when he instead of saying that the Congress government will not support illegal mining, said that illegal mining had the full support of the government.
Siddaramaiah who soon realized his folly, corrected himself and said there was no question of supporting illegal mining.
The Chief minister reacted so when scribes who had arrived in the wake of Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s Mandya visit, drew his attention towards the allegations heard against Santosh Laad in the Belekeri ore missing case. The Chief Minister said action will be taken against Santosd Laad immediately if those who are hurling such allegations produce evidences for the same.
