Mysuru: Crime is at an all time high in Mysuru with regard to chain snatching, as seven incidents of the same were reported in one single day. In all the cases, the criminals are said to have been successful in snatching the gold chains and escaping.

The cases have been reported in Ashokpuram, Krishnamurthypuram and Saraswathipuram, K R Molalla area, Ballal Circle, Near ISKON Temple and Manandvadi Road.

Following the incidents, the City Police took to checking of vehicles across city, by erecting barricades on all important roads. They have been checking suspicious vehicle riders for driving license and documents.

The Police said that the miscreants used Bajaj Pulsar motorbikes for the crime and they are checking on all suspicious Pulsar motorbikes.
