Seven booked for threatening Dalit writer

Mysuru: Seven persons have been booked for allegedly threatening to kill Harohalli Ravindra, an author and Dalit activist.
The young Dalit writer has been facing the wrath of the fundamental elements over social networking sites for writing an article countering orator Chakravarthi Sulibele’s article on Bhagavadgita.

The FB post reads: “You have been speaking a lot about Hinduism. You will meet same end like that of MM Kalburgi.”

A complaint has been registered against Shrath Prabhas, Pradeep Periyal, Sharath R Khandoji from Bengaluru, Sandeep Raj Malpe from Udupi, Nagaraju Vibhuthi from Raichur, Ajith Shetty S Kirady and Anil Raj from Maddoor.
