Mysuru: Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar, the scion of Mysuru royal family, has congratulated Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Minister for IT – BT Dr. C. N. Ashwath Narayan for setting up a semi-conductor fab plant in the City.

In a letter addressed to the CM, Yaduveer Wodeyar said, “I am very glad that the State Government is bringing ISMC Consortium to set up semi-conductor fab in Mysuru. The City has a rich heritage of industry and is giving impetus to the country’s development and this initiative will help stimulate growth. I congratulate the IT Minister  for bringing this growth and initiatives via KDEM.”

In its mission to emerge as a front-runner in the semi-conductor and IT Hardware sector in the country, State signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Israel-based ISMC Analog Fab Private Limited for setting up a semiconductor fab plant in Karnataka.
