Rs 5 lakh compensation announced for those dead in prasadam mishap

Mysuru: Based on instructions from Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, Mandya district minister Puttaraju, who was in Pandavapura, rushed to KR Hospital to oversee the patients who fell ill after having food at Sulvadi Kichchugutti Maramma temple in Kollegal.

Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh for those who died in the incident. It’s nice to see that both the Mysuru and Chamarajanagar administrations pitched in to provide the best possible care to those who fell ill in the incident, said Puttaraju.

Besides this, four to five patients were accommodated in ambulances to ensure that each and every person who needed medical care was extended the same on time. All the staff including doctors, post graduate students, ward boys, caretakers and other related staff were immediately summoned to attend to the medical emergencies at KR Hospital. Within no time, all the doctors and other related staff arrived at the hospital and attended the patients, Puttaraju lauded.
