Rowdy-sheeter found murdered near private bus stand in Mysuru

Mysuru: A person was found murdered opposite to private bus stand (RMC) near Akshay Bar on wee hours of Monday, August 29.

According to police the victim has been identified as 27-year-old Vijay Kumar, a rowdy sheeter, residing at Vijayashripura. According to victim’s friends and relatives the victim Vijay Kumar was also close associate of Devendra who was found murdered in Paduvarahalli few months back. When Devendra was murdered, it is alleged that Vijay along with his friendly forcibly closed shops in Vijayashripura and surrounding areas as a mark of respect to his friend Devendra.

According to his friend Srinivas, it is alleged that on Sunday, Vijay along with friends remained at a place at Mathrumandalli Circle till 11.45 pm. Later he returned home where he quarreled with his mother for money and managed to take Rs 200 from here. From there he straight away dashed into Akshay Bar which is located just opposite private bus stand. Later, between 2 am and 4 am he was found murdered just in front of Akshay Bar. Police Commissioner B Dayananda visited the spot.

A special team under Mandi Mohalla Police Station Inspector Talwar has been formed to nab the accused. Mandi Police have registered a case and are on lookout for the accused. Already two murder cases have been registered against Vijay. Only through investigation it can be revealed whether this murder is having any link with Devendra murder case or not.
