Rowdy hacked to death in broad daylight in Mysuru in suspected act of vengeance

Mysuru: A 38-year-old man with criminal credentials was hacked to death in broad daylight at at VV Mohalla, opposite to Loyal World in Mysuru on Friday.

Krishna alias Loose Krishna, resident of Paduvarahalli is the deceased.It is said that Krishna was on the way back home after dropping his niece to her college when seven unidentified persons who approached him in a car and a bike attacked him.Within few minutes after injuring Krishna severely, the miscreants fled the scene. A severely injured Krishna was rushed to a private hospital but few minutes later he succumbed to his injuries.

It is said that Krishna had identified himself with Vontikoppal Madesh gang for sometime, but later broke out of the gang and started a poultry business at Paduvarahalli. However, when rowdy-sheeter Devu from Paduvarahalli was killed, Krishna aspired to take his place. It is now suspected that the murder can be a well-planned work of Devu gang.

Police Commissioner Subramanyeshwara Rao and other police officers visited the spot. Security has been beefed up at Paduvarahalli, Vontikoppal and also at the mortuary where Krishna’s dead body has been kept. VV Puram Police have registered a case and are on lookout for the miscreants.  Police have confiscated all CCTV cameras which were in the surrounding places.
