Mysuru: The residents of Alagudu layout held a protest outside the police station on Friday, July 15, demanding the arrest of a rowdy-sheeter who is disturbing peace and creating nuisance in the home-constituency of district in-charge minister Dr H C Mahadevappa.

The protesters alleged that rowdy-sheeter Ravichandra along with his associates has been creating ruckus in Alagud layout in T Narasipura which is the home-constituency of Mysuru district in-charge minister Dr H C Mahadevappa.

He has been troubling college girls and keeps getting into verbal spats and attacks anyone who questions him. The protesters demanded that the police must immediately take action and arrest the rowdy-sheeter.

Repeated complaints to the police by the residents against the rowdy-sheeter fell on deaf ears, as he is said to be close to the minister. The residents following the inaction had warned of holding indefinite strike.
