Raid at properties of rural development officer Ranganatha Naik reveal Rs 15 crore worth assets

Mysuru: A simultaneous raid conducted at the premises premises of Ranganatha Naik, superintending engineer in the Rural Development Department at Mysuru has revealed disproportionate assets worth Rs 15 crores it is learnt.

A team led by Mysuru SP ACB, Kavita on Friday conducted the raids at four places – a residential flat at Vijayanagar 1st stage and the official’s office in the Rural Development Department, both at Mysuru, a house at Chikmagaluru and an under construction house at Nagavara in Bengaluru.

A case has been registered under Prevention of Corruption Act and investigations are ongoing.
