Mysuru: Karnataka PWD Minister H C Mahadevappa’s son was reportedly seen at the DC office on the evening of July 6, presumably to mediate on behalf of Marigowda against whom a complaint is lodged by the Mysuru DC which is pending before the city police.
When the media personnel tried to know the purpose of his visit, it is learnt,he came out of the office in a hurry and left in a government car belonging to CHESCOM (Chamundeshwari electric supply company).
Facing charges over sand mining, the presence of Sunil Bose on the corridors gave rise to speculation that he had come to meet the DC and request her to withdraw the complaint she had lodged against K Marigowda.
When asked for his reactions he replied by saying, he had come to discuss about the road widening issue. He further said he had come to request the DC to hike the compensation amount for land losers who are affected by the road widening works in Bannur and T. Narsipur towns.
