Mysuru: The City  Commissioner of Police Dr. Chandragupta has passed an order prohibiting any kind of protests and rallies within the 200 km radius of schools and colleges from 6.00 am on Monday (February 14) till Monday 10.00 pm (February 28).

Classes for 9th and 10th standard students reopened from Monday February 14, and the prohibitory order has been enforced the same day.

The official order issued by the Police Commissioner is a precautionary measure banning people from forming any kind of groups around the schools and colleges, and thus maintain peace and order in the City amidst the ongoing Hijab row.
