Mysuru: “The central budget should be reviewed”, said retired Prof Srikantaradya speaking during the convention on Central Budget here at Rani Bahudur Auditorium Mysuru on Monday.

He said the Budget should not only favor the corporate but also concentrate on Agriculture, Village development and common people. Budget must touch the issues regarding basic necessities, such as – Surakha Bhim Program – that the current budget has fulfilled, he opined.
Opposition political parties say that the Budget has concentrated only on the industrial development and corporate world, which is meaningless.
Earlier UPA Government had introduced many programs but failed to implement. However the present Government has a goal but will they be successful or not only time will tell, he added.
