Mysuru: 3 Con men, using duplicate foreign credit cards, 3 criminals purchased 3 mobile phones from Loyal World, Mall of Mysore, said Commissioner, Mysuru City Police B Dayananda.

Addressing the media he said, ‘the criminals Selvam C alias Chandrashekar (27), Bambubazar, Udayakumar (38), Chindaripete, Chennai and L Bhaskar (40) from Karthekainnagar, Chennai were using money from credit cards by the help of Read and Write Machine they were transferring data’s from other bank cards to their fake cards. Criminals have purchased goods worth Rs 1,15,000 and have purchased 3 costly smartphones. Also, in collusion with shop owners, these have taken hard cash of Rs 2 lakh using the credit card machine’, he said.
‘Nazarbad CCB police have succeeded in chasing these criminals and have seized a Skoda car which costs around 10 lakh, 2 laptops, 3 IDC machines, 2 Read and Write machines. A case has been registered in Nazarbad station.
In the operation Dr Shekar H T, N D Birje, C Gopal, K C Prakash, Mahammad Hashmithakhan, M J Jayasheela and others were present.
Scooter thieves apprehended:
Four criminals have been caught for stealing scooter, mobile and money, saying that they are agents of Human Rights and Anti Corruption organisation. The Udayagiri Police has successfully trapped the criminals said Commissioner, Mysuru City Police B Dayananda.
Addressing the media he said, ‘ Sayeed Nasim alias Nasim Pasha son of Abdul Basheer from Gousiya Nagar, Rajik Pasha alias Rajik son of Nasrab Pasha from Rajeev Nagar, Mohammad Zakeer son of Mohammad Noor from Ragavendra nagar, Amanulla Baiegh son of Munnalula Baiegh from Gousiya Nagar were the criminals. Rest of the criminals Asif Pasha, Mohammad Suhail and Sterla are still missing’.
‘These seven members had opened Human Rights and Anti Corruption organization in Gousiya Nagar and after opening the office in 1 week, they have blocked Abdul Wasim, 1st year B.com student of Lashkar Mohalla. They threatened him and grabbed his Honda Dio, Mobile Phone and told him to bring Rs 2 lakh’, he said.
‘On Jun 21 the same gang stopped Rumaj Ahamad of Lashkar Mohalla in Dr Rajkumar road and asked him to pay Rs 2 lakh claiming they are police officers. Unfortunately Rumaj Ahamad escaped from them and lodged complaint in Udayagiri police station and Udayagiri Police inspector along with his team caught these criminals with 24 hours’., he added
Afiza Baiegam, Nilakanta Rao, Shankar, Niyaz Ahamed, Mustaka Ahamed carried out the operations.
