Mysuru: The Artificial limb centre of JSS Hospital organized a 3 day Free camp in association with Lions Club Mysuru, and Jain Milan Mysuru 13th and 15th March 2015, in the hospital premises. During the first two days of the camp, measurements of prosthetics required by the specially abled people visiting the camp will be taken and prosthetics will be fabricated by technicians from Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti Jaipur.

“Physically challenged should not be neglected”, said M Thirumalaikumar Principal Commissioner of Income Tax. “The Indian constitution has given equal rights to all castes and genders so we should not side line the physically challenged people in the society and its against to the Indian culture”, he added.
M S Mruthyunjaya Zonal President Zone 8 Bharatiya Jain Milan said that many camps have been organized on Artificial limbs for the needy before. There are more than 180 centres in Karnataka alone and we are planning to open in London and America too, he said.
“We concentrate on villagers and poor people to help them, so publicity is more essential to achieve more success”, he added
Dr Thomas Antony Vazhappilly Bishop Of Mysore Diocese, Bharat Mehta President Bhagwan mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti Bengaluru, Lion P Satya Prakash Upadhyaya Dst Governor Lions Club, Dr R K Chaturvedi Director JSS Hospital were also present.
