Mysuru: In a shocking incident, a man of Mysuru origin is now facing charges of killing his wife and two kids, in Dublin, Ireland.
The incident took place on October 28 and the PM report states that the three were strangled to death.
The victims are Seema Bhanu (37), orginally hailing from Periyapata taluk, Afria Saeed (11) and Faizan Saeed (6).
The parents of Seema, who live in Mysuru have alleged that their daughter and grandchildren have been killed by her husband Sameer Saeed, a software engineer, orginally hailing from Rajeevnagar in Mysuru.
Seema and Sameer were married 13 years ago. Sameer was initially settled in Dubai, but relocated to Dublin as he got better job offer.
Seema’s family members say that recently Sameer had tried to dispose all their properties in Mysuru, to which Seema had objected. The matter had turned into a crisis between the couple and a complaint too was lodged at Udayagiri police station in this regard.
After this, Sameer had reported fled Mysuru leaving his wife and kids in Mysuru. On reaching Dublin, he had convinced Seema and the kids to return and accordingly the trio and gone back.
However, their relationship never remained cordial after that and even in Dublin the two continued to have fights. Even here, Seema had reportedly filed complaint against Sameer. The local Court had ordered the two to live separately till the case is sorted out and hence Seema had shifted out with her children.
The incident of Seema and her children’s death came to light only when the neighbours reported that they haven’t seen the three over the last few days.
When the police reached the spot, it was found that the three had been killed. The post mortem report has confirmed that the three were strangled to death.
A close relative of Seema informed that Seema had called her parents on October 25 and had said that she was facing threat from her husband.
Seema’s father Abdul Gafoor has urged the Indian administration to help him get the dead bodies of his daughter and grandchildren back to Mysuru.
