Mysuru: In view of Prime Minister’s office refusal to divulge details on PM’s qualification, hundreds of National Students Union of India(NSUI) activists demanded his resignation during a protest meeting at Gandhi square here on May 11.
During the last Loksabha elections held in 2014, the Prime minister had mentioned that he is a Post graduate degree holder in the affidavit submitted to the elction commission.

However the protesters alleged that prime minister’s office is refusing to divulge the details against an RTI enquiry and is creating real doubts in the minds of people as to whether the PM is qualified or not.

To clear the air the prime minister should seek an apology from the nation and step down immediately on moral grounds, they demanded.

It may be recalled that few days back the BJP president along with finance minister during a press conference had flashed the PM’s degree certificates. Further the Delhi University too had confirmed that PM’s degree is authentic negating AAP’s appeal.

Despite several attempts by the Government top brass to clear the doubts, the inordinate delay has lead to many agitations on the PM’s qualification issue.
