Mysuru: Criminal case has been registered against NPS School for evading Right to Education (RTE) norms by submitting false affidavit to garner minority institution status.
The school administration has 8 schools in Bengaluru and 1 in Mysuru had deceived the government by furnishing false information.The block development officer has filed a criminal case against the school administration in Vijayanagr police station seeking action against the school authorities.
The school had submitted a certificate from NCMEI declaring it as a minority institution and sough relief from RTE norms from the state government.When doubts cropped on the authenticity of the document the state public education department sought clarifications from NCMEI. In response it was found that the school had provided false certificate and according criminal case was filed under section 417,418,419,420 against the school for cheating.
School name plate goes missing
After realizing that a criminal case has been filed against the school, the school administration has quietly removed the earlier name plate with certification details. People demonstrated in front of the school on August 9th seeking action as they felt , school getting involved in criminal activities can be detrimental to the society as a whole.
