Mysore: MP and former chief minister B.S.Yeddyurappa has made it clear that he was not an aspirant for the post of State BJP Presidentship.
Speaking to media persons in Mysore, Yeddyurappa said he would tour the length and breadth of the state and strengthen the party organisation as per the wishes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He also stated that all BJP MPs are committed to protect the interests of the state. Commenting on the hike in rail passenger fares and freight charges, Yeddyurappa defended the Union Government and said Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda would give a satisfactory explanation to the hike in fares, during the parliament session.
