North Karnataka delicacies tickle taste buds at Bahuroopi festival

Mysuru: At the week-long 13th edition of Bahuroopi, a National Theatre Festival organised by Rangayana at Kalamandira, mouthwatering delicacies from Northern parts of Karnataka have been tickling taste buds of food connoisseurs.
Special North Karnataka delicacies like Jolada Rotti, Yennegai Gojju, Kempu Chutney, Shenga Chutney, Uchchellu chutney and Mosaru, special mandakki puri, special mirchi, special godhi payasa are receiving outstanding response.

Jayashree Abbigeri daughter of Savakka Abbigeri, Shantavva Morabada, Savakka Itagi, Yallamma Kadagi prepare more than 2500 to 3000 roties, 50kgs of Yennegai Gojju, 25kgs of Mirchi and 20kgs of Mandakki for the food lovers everyday. From last 9 years the team takes part in the festival treating food lovers with mouthwatering dishes.

Umashanker Karanam from Dharwad, Geetha Gadada, Dundemma Gadada, Neelamma Gadada, Parvathy Gadada, Ashwini Halyala, Jayashree Gadada team also involved in preparing special North Karnataka dishes.

The week-long theatre fest concludes on January 20.
