Mysuru: Launching a scathing attack on rival Congress, BJP leader and former Chairman Karnataka Exhibition Authority Chairman R Raghu said that there is no scope for honesty in Congress. He also said that leaders with various allegations are the ones who become ministers in Congress.

He stated that by dropping Srinivas Prasad and Ambareesh who were having clean image and no black mark in their tenures as ministers, from the cabinet has proved that there was no scope for honesty in the Congress party.
Addressing media persons at Press club here on Wednesday he said, “By removing Srinivas Prasad from the cabinet, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah clearly indicated that he is anti-dalit. It’s an insult to the senior Congress leader who had contributed a lot to the party. Insult to Prasad is an insult to dalit. Srinivas Prasad is a highly respected leader not only in Congress but also in other parties.”
“During his stint as a district minister he had come out with various activities. There is no black mark during his three year stint as a minister but surprisingly he was shown the door instead of two other ministers including Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and PWD Minister HC Mahadevappa who are having various allegations against them. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is facing allegation of hublot watch as a gift and HC Mahadevappa over illegal sand mining. The Governor should interfere and take serious note of various developments in the state and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who is facing various charges should be removed by the Congress party instead of removing able leaders,” added Raghu.
