Mysuru: Former Minister and BJP candidate from Varuna Assembly Constituency V. Somanna visited Sri Nanjundeshwara Swamy Temple in Nanjanagudu and offered prayers.
V. Somanna is contesting as a BJP candidate from Varuna Assembly constituency. On the first day of the announcement of the ticket, he came to Nanjanagudu and offered special prayers to Sri Nanjundeshwara Swamy.
He is contesting from Varuna and Chamarajanagara Assembly constituencies. In Varuna Constituency, V. Somanna is contesting against former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Somanna.
He broke the coconut in front of Lord Nanjundeshwara and offered prayers to the deity and went to Sri Nanjundeshwara, Parvathamma, Chandikeswara, Ganapathy and Narayana Swamy temples inside the temple premises.
‘I will pledge to develop Varuna Constituency on the lines of the development that has taken place in Bengaluru. The people of Varuna constituency wants BJP this time. I have been given tickets in Varuna and Chamarajanagara Assembly constituencies. Our future will be decided by the people. I will abide by the decision of the people,” said V Somanna.
