Mysuru: On the occasion of full moon, thousands of devotees visited Sri Nanjundeshwara Temple in Nanjanagudu on Sunday June 4 and got darshan of God.
A large number of people took a holy bath in the Kapila River of Sri Nanjundeshwara Swamy Temple in Nanjanagudu City from 5 o’clock in the morning and entered the temple in a queue.
A special religious worship was performed to Srikantheswaraswamy as part of the full moon. The number of people arriving at the temple after 8 in the morning was high, ans those who got entry to the temple through a special ticket had to stand in a queue for about two hours to enter the temple.
Since there was a long queue for receiving prasad, some went outside the temple to accept the prasad offered by the devotees.
